Strong

For strength and conditioning coaches

The training load software built for the coach who owns the plan.

Stop juggling spreadsheets and fragmented exports from Polar, Whoop, and Catapult. Strong centralises every metric, from total distance to acute:chronic workload ratios, into one source of truth for athlete readiness.

The problem

From fragmented data to decisive action

Your athletes use Polar, Whoop, Catapult, and more. Your data is everywhere, exported to spreadsheets, aligned by hand, stale by the time you can read it. You can see the connections in your head, but proving them across disconnected platforms is a daily battle, and the hours you lose to cleaning data are hours you do not spend coaching.

  • Total distance in one platform, recovery in another, lifting logs in a third
  • Hours exporting and aligning data before a single decision
  • Periodisation plans that drift from what the athlete actually did
One source of truth

Your training load data, finally unified.

Strong is the central command for your team's performance, integrating every metric into one clear, actionable view. Make critical decisions about athlete readiness with complete confidence, not a partial picture.

Workload, in context

Acute:chronic load, watched for you

Strong calculates acute:chronic workload ratios automatically and tracks the line week by week against the adapted-training range. When an athlete's recent load runs ahead of what their body is conditioned for, the reading is plain and the right staff see it before it costs availability.

Acute-to-chronic workload

This week's load against the rolling four-week baseline. The shaded band is where adapted athletes usually sit.

Illustrative
0.51.01.5W1W2W3W4W5W6W7W8
  • Sweet spot 0.8 to 1.3
  • Danger zone above 1.5
Ratio ends at 1.34 in W8, above the 1.3 sweet-spot ceiling and into the danger zone.
External load, one language

Every session metric, against its own ceiling

Total distance, high-speed running, sprint distance, accelerations and decelerations. Strong renders a session's external load as one readable set, each metric scaled to its own typical ceiling so the standout reads at a glance, reconciled back to the underlying session so the figure always traces to the work.

Session movement load

The Performance Clock movement metrics for one session, each against its own typical ceiling.

Illustrative
  • Total distance9.4 km
  • High-speed running820 m
  • Sprint distance280 m
  • Accel / decel64 efforts
A bar past its ceiling is marked. Sprint distance ran above the usual range this session.
Precision tools for peak performance

Go beyond raw numbers

Fatigue detection that flags early

Strong watches load and movement quality together, so accumulating fatigue and a declining movement signature surface as a flag, not a post-incident report.

Periodisation that tracks reality

Plan the block, then watch every athlete's actual output against it. The plan and the work stay in one view, so burnout and undertraining are both visible before competition.

One picture of external load

Total distance, high-speed running, and accelerations from every device, unified. A complete picture of external load without a single manual export.

With Strong, we finally have a common language. Our S&C coach, our physio, and I can look at the same dashboard and have a productive conversation about an athlete's readiness in minutes. Before, it was a week of meetings and comparing spreadsheets.
