Between
2010 and 2013 Australia is switching from Analogue to Digital TV.
"What happens if i do nothing?"
If you
choose to do nothing, you will loose all access to free to air TV
channels once the Digital Switch over is complete in your area. This
is why it is important to plan ahead. However, you can get digital
now and enjoy all the added benefits - you don't have to wait.

What
is Digital TV?
The word 'digital' simply
refers to the way a TV Signal is broadcast and received by
homes in Australia. Currently Australia broadcasts both Analog
and Digital Signal. The Analog signal will be phased out starting
June 2010. The
main benefit of digital TV is the improved reception, and
better picture & sound quality. You will also be able
to receive more TV Channels and view TV in widescreen.
